That’s it for now…

Just a quick post to say that unfortunately due to financial limitations and a lack of time I have had to cease racing for the foreseeable future.

I have enjoyed racing over the last couple of years but the travel costs as well as the opening of the regulations in the F1 Retro class have made it financially very restrictive for me to continue.

I hope to be able to return in the next few years as I will miss racing as having young children also limits my time. Hopefully in a few years I can encourage my son to take up racing and then it’s the perfect excuse to come back.

This is not the end for JV Motorsport though. The website will continue to be online and I will be taking a slightly different direction over the next couple of years. I have a strong interest in slot car racing and I am planning on setting one up at home so will be doing a few articles on this in 2013. You may even find the odd RC plane story as well as I dabble with these from time to time.

Wishing all racers from the SPC a Merry Christmas and hope you continue to check back from time to time.
